Congratulations to the high school students who gave an outstanding performance at the national Science Olympiad competition at the University of Wisconsin-Stout this past weekend!
The team included: Luke Biernbaum (11), Justin Chen (10), Anna Cramblitt (11), Royce Dong (12), Annie Liu (10), Albert Liu (10), Charlie Loitman (10), Michael Muzinich (11), Patrick Naughton (11), Logan Page (12), Seema Patil (9), Kate Prablek (10), Jeffrey Wang (11), Audrey Wang (10), Kevin Xue (12), Noah Goldman (10) and Stephanie Zhong (11).
The team competed against the 60 best teams in the nation and finished in 21st place. The following five events finished in the top 10:
Air Trajectory – Jeffrey Wang (11) and Luke Biernbaum (11) (2nd Place)
Astronomy – Noah Goldman (10) and Justin Chen (10) (7th place)
Wright Stuff – Anna Cramblitt (11) and Stephanie Zhong (11) (7th place)
Geologic Mapping – Audrey Wang (10) and Anna Cramblitt (11) (7th place)
Fossils – Anna Cramblitt (11) and Noah Goldman (10) (9th place)
