On Saturday, Feb. 11, 10 Ladue Middle School students participated at the Regional Round of the MathCounts Competition. Nine of the students placed in the top 15, which is a remarkable stat!
In addition, 7th-grader Samuel Chen won the No. 1 overall prize; 8th-grader William Xie won the Countdown Round (a head-to-head speed round); and the team of Stephen Jiang, Jason Ding, Will Bender and Anthony Wang took First Place in the Team Round.
All of these students will move on to the state competition in March. Here are the nine students and their places (and grade levels).
